Loans to Members

Members will be asked for proof of income and or bank statements, credit card statements and proof of address in order for their loan application to be processed.

All members over 18 years of age can apply for a loan after saving regularly for three months. (12 weeks). You may apply for an amount up to twice the value of your shares for your first loan.

Six months must elapse between the date you draw down first loan and apply for a second loan, which will be based on your record and ability to make regular repayments.

There is no time restriction on further loans.

Members between the ages of 16 years and 18 years will need their Parent/Guardian to co-sign the agreement.

Loans within shares are paid out immediately on completing an application form, available in our office and presenting it at the counter.
